• Lubricate moving parts regularly.
• We recommend cleaning the product
after it has been used.
• Clean the product regularly with a cloth
moistened with water and a mild
detergent. Do not use strong detergents
or solvents, they can damage the plastic
parts. Make sure that no water gets into
the product. If water gets into the product,
this will increase the risk of electric shock.
REPLACING THE POWER CORD
A damaged power cord or plug must be
replaced by an authorised service centre or
other qualified personnel to ensure safe use.
REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES
Allow an authorised electrician to check the
carbon brushes in the event of heavy sparking.
Danger: The carbon brushes must only be
replaced by an authorised electrician.
8. Carefully clean the flange screw (31),
the washer (32), the outer flange (33)
and the inner flange.
9. Fit the new saw blade (5) in the reverse
order.
WARNING!
• Always check that all the safety devices
are correctly fitted and in working order
before use.
• After replacing the saw blade, always
check that the blade guard (6) can be
opened and closed, and that the saw
blade (5) rotates freely in the saw blade
(6).
• After replacing the saw blade, always

freely in the table insert at both 0° and
45°.
• Replace the table insert (23)
immediately if it is worn or damaged.
Remove the table insert (23) by undoing
its cross-head screws and lifting the
insert out from the fixed saw table (9).
Follow the instructions in reverse order
to install a new saw table insert.
• The saw blade must be adjusted and
aligned correctly.
IMPORTANT:
The direction of rotation of the blade must
correspond with the arrow on the casing.
