WARNING!
• Do not use the product under structures
or roofs that can catch fire, such as
awnings, parasols or party tents.
• Check before lighting the product that it is
not placed under projecting parts of
buildings, such as a balcony. Such
projections can direct flames and heat in
towards the building, which can cause a
fire.
• Check before lighting the product that
there is a gap of at least 1 m between the
product and flammable materials and
that there are no flammable liquids such
as petrol in the vicinity (see figure on
right). Burning fat and the radiation of
heat from the product during normal use
can ignite flammable material or liquids if
they are not kept at a safe distance..
• Ensure an adequate supply of air for
combustion and ventilation. But keep the
product away from strong draughts.
• Never leave the product unattended when
it is lit – risk of uncontrolled burning of
fat.
• Do not attempt to move the product when
it is lit or has not completely cooled – risk
of burn injuries.
• Do not store or use flammable liquids or
gas in the vicinity of this product or other
heat generating products – risk of fire.
GAS HAZARD
WARNING!
Gasol/propane is flammable and can be very
dangerous if handled incorrectly. Familiarise
yourself with the risks and safe handling of gas
before using the product.
• Gas is flammable, explosive under
pressure, and heavier than air, and
accumulates in low lying areas and
hollows.
• Gas is odourless in its natural state. An
odorant is normally added for safety
reasons.
• Skin contact with gas can cause
congelation.
• Products designed and manufactured for
liquefied petroleum gas must never be
used with any other type of gas.
• Never use damaged gas cylinders.
• Have the gas supplier check the gas
cylinder if it is dented, corroded or
otherwise damaged.
IMPORTANT:
• Keep the valves, burner and air ducts on
the product clean.
• Always check the product before using it.
1. Check that all connections are correctly
fitted and tightened and that there is no
leakage.
2. Make sure that the burner pipes are free
from insects and dirt by removing the
burner and inserting a bottle brush in
each pipe.
*** A clogged burner can cause a fire under
the grill. ***
3. Check that valve nozzle is straight and fully
inserted in the burner pipe.
General
• The product must be connected to a gas
cylinder.
• The product is not intended for
commercial use.
• Do not block the ventilation openings in
the gas cylinder housing.
Incorrect use
All other use than described in these operating
instructions is to be considered as incorrect use
and is unacceptable. Incorrect use is, but not
limited, to:
• the use of charcoal or any other fuel than
gas
• the use of the product as an oven/
hotplate with pots and pans
