Ear protection
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not immerse the ear defenders in liquid.
The audibility of warning signals is impaired when wearing the ear defenders.
The ear defenders must not be used if they are damaged.
The ear defenders must not be exposed to chemicals.
The ear defenders must never be used when driving a motor vehicle.
The ear defenders must never be used when maximum contact with your surroundings is required,
e.g. where you have to be able to hear warnings.
The ear defenders must be adjusted as instructed.
The ear defenders must be checked regularly.

OPERATION
When used correctly, and with the right care, this ear protection provides excellent protection that filters
out high-frequency noise. High-frequency noise constitutes the greatest noise problem from machinery
such as engineering equipment, chainsaws, etc.
1.
Extend the headband as far as possible and place the ear protection over your ears with the
headband over your head.
2.
Place the headband over your head while you adjust the height of the ear defenders until they are
feel comfortable and the headband is resting on your head.
3.
The ear protection must fit tightly against your head.
4.
Adjust the length of the headband to ensure noise is effectively shut out.
Put on the ear protection before you expose yourself to noise, and keep the protection in place for as long
as the noise lasts.
The ear protection is a normal size and fits most users. The material from which the ear protection is
made does not cause skin irritation, allergic reactions or other negative effects on health.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Clean the ear protection with a warm soap solution. Do not use organic solvents or alcohol for
cleaning.
2.
The ear protection should be disinfected every three months, or as required depending on use. All
parts of the ear protection that come into contact with the user should be disinfected with alcohol.
The cushions and absorbers are not replaceable.
Storage
The ear protection must be stored in a clean, dry plastic bag after use.
