Blockages
Turn off the appliance if the motor stops or if the motor continues to run but nothing emerges
through the mincer plate. This may be due to a bone or some other item blocking the appliance.
Set the power switch to REVERSE to remove the blockage.
Clean the pump.
MAINTENANCE
Dismantling
1.
Wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill. Unplug the power cord.
2.
Unscrew the plate holder (fig. 8). If the plate holder is secured too tightly, tap it with a piece of wood
or similar to loosen it.
3.
Unscrew the lock knob and remove the tube with the mincer plate, knife and feeding worm.
Position the tube with the opening facing down, and remove the mincer plate, the knife and the
feeding worm.
Cleaning
1.
Remove all food remnants.
2.
Wash all the parts in warm water and washing-up liquid.
3.
Bleach containing chlorine will discolour aluminium surfaces.
4.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
5.
Solvents and petrol will change the colour of the unit or cause the paint to crack.
6.
Lubricate parts h
–k with a little cooking oil after cleaning.
