• Switch off the engine, release the spark plug lead from the spark plug, remove
the ignition key where appropriate, and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped in the following situations. Before leaving the machine.
• Reduce the throttle and close the fuel cock (if there is one) before stopping the
engine.
Special safety instructions
• Do not use the machine without the deflector or grass catcher.
• Switch off the engine, release the spark plug lead from the spark plug, and

• Never put your hands or feet under the deck or in the ejector opening when
the engine is running.
• Carefully inspect the area where the machine is to be used and remove any

• Never lift or tilt the machine when starting the engine.
Maintenance and storage
• Make sure that all the screw connections are properly tightened to keep the
machine in safe condition.
• Never store the machine with fuel in the tank in areas with sources of heat.
• Allow the engine to cool before storing the machine.
• Keep the engine, muffler, battery compartment and area where fuel is stored
free from grease, grass, moss, and leaves, etc. – fire risk.
• Check the catcher for wear or damage at regular intervals.
• Replace damaged or worn parts.
• If the tank needs to be emptied, this must be done outside.
• IMPORTANT: Do not touch the blades until they have completely stopped.
• WARNING: Only refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine switched off.
