SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
Read these operating instructions carefully before using the product.
Keep these instructions handy and always read them before using the appliance.
Never use the appliance if it is damaged.
Repairs must be carried out by an authorised workshop. Otherwise, life-threatening injuries could
occur.
The appliance must not be short-circuited.
Do not allow the terminals to come into contact with conductive material, except when used as
intended.
Note carefully how the terminals are to be connected. Risk of burns, fire and serious injury.
Never use the appliance in potentially explosive environments or where there is a danger of fire.
At the end of its useful life, take the appliance to a recycling facility. Batteries included.
Store the appliance at a maximum of 50°C.
If the appliance is leaking fluids, wash your skin immediately with soap and water. Then neutralise
with a mild acid such as orange juice or vinegar.
If you get battery fluid in your eyes, rinse with copious amounts of water and seek immediate
medical attention.
Never disassemble the appliance.
Only charge the appliance with the supplied adapters.

OPERATION
Charging
The auxiliary starter must be charged before use.
Charge by connecting it to the cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle or via the adapter to a 230
volt power outlet.
The red status lamp lights up when the auxiliary starter is connected to the mains.
12V charging takes 7 to 10 hours.
Let the auxiliary starter charge overnight the first time it is charged to maintain longer battery life.
Charging is automatically disconnected when the voltage reaches 13.5V to 14V.
The auxiliary starter can be constantly connected to the cigarette lighter so that it is always fully charged.
Connection
Turn off all power consumers in the vehicle/engine that is to be started.

Do not allow the terminals to come into contact with conductive material, except when used as
intended.
Now connect the auxiliary starter as follows:
1.
Connect the red cable clamp to the battery's positive terminal (+).
2.
Then connect the black cable clamp to the battery's negative terminal (-).
3.
Start the engine in the usual way.
4.
When the engine has started, first disconnect the black cable clamp.
5.
Now disconnect the red.
