Temperature control
Adjust the temperature of the refrigerator by using the
temperature adjuster knob. Position “1” or “High” is the warmest
setting and position “5” or “Low” is the coldest.
The temperature adjuster knob is variable, so you can set the
knob in any position. It does not need to be set exactly on a
specific number.
When the set temperature is reached, the automatic
temperature control system and the cooling system’s linear
temperature control are activated.
POWER SWITCH DC/OFF/AC
The power switch is located down to the left on the
back of the refrigerator.
When the refrigerator is used with a 12 VDC adapter,
the power switch must be in the DC mode position
and the adapter must be plugged into the connector
below the power switch.
The power switch must be in the AC mode position
when run on 230V mains voltage.
When the refrigerator is switched off the power
switch should be turned to OFF.
When the refrigerator is used with the 12 VDC
adapter the thermostat is disabled. The refrigerator
will now continuously run at full cooling output.
NOTE:
If you disconnect the refrigerator from the mains supply, wait 3-5 minutes before you turn it on
again. The refrigerator may not work properly if it is turned on too quickly.
Cooling speed/food storage
The temperature inside the refrigerator can be reduced to 8ºC in about two hours (when the refrigerator is
empty). When you adjust the temperature, the new temperature stabilises after some time, depending on
the amount of food in the refrigerator and the ambient temperature. When the refrigerator has been
turned on for 1 or 2 hours, you can put in food and other goods for cooling.
CLEANING
Detergent:
Never use strong detergents, abrasive products, solvents or similar products on any of the
surfaces.
Exterior:
Clean with a damp cloth with a mild soap solution. Rinse and wipe dry. Use a silicone wax to
remove stubborn stains and wax formation.
Refrigeration compartment:
Wash shelves and other removable parts in warm soapy water. Rinse and
allow to dry. Clean the interior with a solution of water and sodium bicarbonate (three tablespoons of
baking soda to one litre of water) or warm soapy water. Rinse and wipe dry.
Magnetic sealing strip
Clean with warm soapy water.
When you are finished, refit all parts into place and set the required temperature.
