1.
Switch off the tool and unplug the power cord.
2.
Undo the screws holding the plastic blade guard in position, and dismantle the outer blade guard.
3.
Undo the blade screw (left-hand thread) by holding the spindle in place with a spanner and undoing
the blade screw in direction a with the hex key. Tighten the blade screw in direction b.
4.
Remove the locking screw, the outer flange and the blade.
5.
Remove sawdust from the area around the spindle and flanges.
6.
Install the new blade, the flanges and the locking screws. Check that the blade’s direction of
rotation corresponds with that of the motor.
USE
Disconnect the power cord and inspect the tool prior to each use.
Areas of use
The tool is intended for stationary use for straight ripping and sawing cuts in timber. Mitre sawing at
angles of -45° to +45° is possible, as is bevel sawing between 0° to 45°. The tool can be used for sawing
hard and soft wood, as well as fibreboard and chipboard.
Mitre sawing
1.
Pull out the lock pin (17) and lift the saw head to its
highest position.
2.
Lock the saw head at 0°.
3.
Loosen the saw table locks (13).
4.
Turn the saw table so that the pointer points in the
desired angle.
5.
Tighten the saw table locks (13).
WARNING
Check that the saw table lock is tightened before
sawing. Otherwise, the table may move during sawing,
causing serious personal injury.
6.
Place the workpiece flat on the table, with one edge
firmly pressed against the fence (5).
7.
Perform the desired saw movement before turning on
the saw, to check that this can be done without
difficulty.
8.
Hold the control handle (3) securely and press the
power switch (10). Wait until the blade has reached
maximum speed.
9.
Press the lock lever (2) and slowly lower the blade into
the workpiece.
10.
Release the power switch and wait until the saw blade
has
stopped
rotating
before
lifting
it
from
the
workpiece. Do not remove the workpiece until the
blade has come to a complete standstill.
