Setting fence at right angles to the table
1.
Switch off the tool and unplug the power cord.
2.
Lower the saw arm to its lowest position and press in
the lock pin (17) to lock the saw arm in the transport
position.
3.
Loosen the saw table locks (13).
4.
Turn the table (7) so that the pointer points to 0°.
5.
Tighten the saw table locks (13).
6.
Undo the two screws holding the fence (5) at the base
using a 5 mm hex key.
7.
Place a set square between the fence (5) and the
blade.
8.
Adjust the fence (5) to the correct angle in relation to
the blade.
9.
Tighten the screws holding the fence (5) in position.
10.
Undo the crosshead screw (6) holding the mitre angle
scale’s degree pointer in position, and adjust the
pointer so that it points to zero.
11.
Tighten the screw holding the mitre angle pointer.
Changing the blade
DANGER
Never use a blade larger than that specified in the technical data – there is a risk that it will come
into contact with the blade guards.
Never use a blade that is so thick that the outer blade washer comes into contact with the flat
surfaces on the spindle – there is a risk that the blade screw will not lock the blade correctly on the
spindle.
Do not use the tool to saw metal, stone, bricks or similar.
Check that all necessary spacers, spindle rings, etc., are appropriate for the installed blade and
spindle.
