Adjust the lateral position of rear needle guard

so that it
receives the needle within the range of B when the needle
is in its lowest position.
1) Adjust the height with setscrew

from edge line A of rear needle guard

of right-hand needle is 1.5 to 2 mm when the top end

of the looper comes from the extreme right end to
the center of right-hand needle.
2) Make rear needle guard

slightly come in contact
with the right-hand needle so that the clearance
between right-hand needle and top end

looper is 0 to 0.05 mm when top end

of the looper
comes from the extreme right end to the center of
right-hand needle.
In addition, make rear needle guard

contact with the medium needle so that the clearance
between the medium needle and top end

looper keeps 0 to 0.05 mm when top end

Perform the adjustment with setscrews
