About this instruction manual
Therefore, this instruction manual must al-
ways be read by the fitter and the responsi-
ble skilled personnel/user before the instal-
lation, putting into service and maintenance.
Not only the general safety notes given in
the chapter “Intended use” are to be ob-
served, but also the special safety notes
inserted under the other main items.
1.1
Used symbols
The safety notes contained in this instruction
manual are labelled with the following sym-
bols:
Notes directly attached to the under-sink
water filter, e.g.

must obligatorily be observed and kept in a
fully legible condition.
1.2
Safety indications and dangers
due to non-compliance
In detail, the non-compliance with the gener-
al danger symbols can result, for example,
in the following risks:

Failure of important functions of the
under-sink water filter.

Danger to persons due to electrical and
mechanical effects.
–
Danger to persons and the environment
due to leaks.
Refrain from any safety-critical method of
practice.
Non-compliance with this instruction manual
and the safety information can not only re-
sult in dangers for persons but can also
harm the environment and the under-sink
water filter.
