Scanning all channels

1) Select the menu item 

All Groups

(fig. 10), if

this has not been done already. Then press the
knob  PUSH / CONTROL.

2) Press the button SETUP or the knob PUSH /

CONTROL to start scanning. The display shows

Scanning…  %

.

To exit at any time, press the button EXIT.

3) After scanning, the result list appears showing

all free channels:

Group 1 has been selected. The bottom line indi-
cates the number of free channels, in this case
46 channels. In group 1, 48 channels are avail-
able, i. e. 2 channels are already being used.

4) All 12 groups can be selected when you turn the

knob  PUSH / CONTROL.

5) To select a free channel, press the knob PUSH /

CONTROL so that the channel number is high-
lighted. Then turn the knob. When you turn the
knob, the channels already used are skipped.

6) Press the button SETUP to store the channel

selected for reception.

Scanning the channels of a group

1) If the selection menu for scanning (fig. 10) is not

shown, call it up via the menu item

main menu.

2) Turn the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select the

menu item

. Then press the

knob.

3) Turn the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select the

group.

4) Scanning of a group will always start with the

first channel which is automatically selected. To
check the first channel, press the knob PUSH /

CONTROL. After the check, the display will
show 

OK

after the channel number if the chan-

nel is not already being used. If the channel is
being used, it will be skipped and the next free
channel will be indicated.

5) To check the next free channel, press the knob

PUSH / CONTROL  once  again.

6) Press the button SETUP to store the channel for

reception.

6.2.4 Storing preferred frequencies 

in your own frequency groups

It is possible to store up to 64 preferred frequencies
in your own six frequency groups.

1) Call up the following menu via the menu item

User Group

of the main menu:

2) The first menu item is selected. Press the knob

PUSH / CONTROL to call up the following setup
menu:

3) The group number is selected. Turn the knob

PUSH / CONTROL to select the group where the
frequency is to be stored.

4) Press the knob PUSH / CONTROL so that the

channel number is selected. Turn the knob to
select the channel number where the frequency
is to be stored.

5) Press the knob once again so that the digits

before the decimal point are selected. Turn the
knob to set the transmission frequency in steps
of 1 MHz.

6) For fine adjustment in steps of 0.025 MHz,

press the knob once again so that the digits
after the decimal point are highlighted. Then
turn the knob.

7) Press the button SETUP to store the frequency

selected.

8) To store further frequencies, repeat steps 2 – 7.

9) To exit all menus, press the button EXIT three

times.
