2 Safety Notes

The units (receiver and power supply unit) corre-
spond to all relevant directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with

.

G

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range: 0 – 40 °C).

G

Do not operate the receiver and immediately dis-
connect the power supply unit from the socket
1. if the units are visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was

dropped or suffered a similar accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel.

G

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.

G

No guarantee claims for the units and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the units are used for
other purposes than originally intended, if they
are not correctly connected or operated, or if they
are not repaired in an expert way.

3 Applications

Combined with a matching transmitter from JTS,
the wideband receiver UF-10R / 12 creates a wire-
less audio transmission system which is ideally
suited for professional stage applications. The re -
ceiver uses “True Diversity” technology: The signal
sent from the wireless microphone or pocket trans-
mitter is received by two antennas and amplified in
two separate receiver sections. The signal of the
highest quality is then processed. The transmission
range depends on local conditions; in open-field
conditions, the maximum range may be 300 m.

The following JTS transmitters can be combined
with the receiver UF-10R / 12:

UF-10TH / 12

Order No. 25.4380

Dynamic hand-held microphone with integrated
transmitter

UF-10TB / 12

Order No. 25.4390

Pocket transmitter with lavalier microphone

3.1 Conformity and approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that the unit UF-10R / 12 is in accordance with the
basic requirements and the other relevant regula-
tions of the directive 1999 / 5 / EC. The declaration of
conformity is available on request from MONACOR
INTERNATIONAL. The receiver is

licence-free

and generally approved for operation in EU and
EFTA countries.

4 Rack Installation

The receiver is designed as a desktop unit but is
also suited for installation into a rack for units of a
width of 482 mm (19″).

To install one receiver into a rack, use the

mounting brackets

RM-901

(order no. 25.4940).

Fasten the brackets on the left and right sides of the
housing.

To install two receivers, use the mounting set

RM-10SET

(order no. 25.4950). The set includes

two mounting brackets and two connecting rails.
Use two screws each to fasten the brackets and the
rails on the corresponding side of the housing. Link
the two receivers via the rails. To secure the rails,
fasten the headless screws at the upper or lower
edge of the rail.

WARNING

The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage. Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only. Inexpert
handling may result in electric shock.

If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
