SIM Card Setup

In order to use your PrePaid Telstra service in the GPS unit you need to contact Telstra and
register the PrePaid account using your information.

During the setup they
should
ask if you wish to select a PrePaid plan to use with the new PrePaid
service.
a.
If they don’t ask, you may prompt them that you wish to select a Pre-Paid plan while on
the phone with them and place credit on it.
b.
The alternative is that you select a plan and credit at a later date that suits you. They
may also direct you to the Telstra Account portal to manage your credit.
Refer to the Recommended Plans section in the Tips & Tricks document for information on our
preferred PrePaid Plans.
If you wish to use a PostPaid plan, you can request Telstra to configure a PostPaid Plan on the
same SIM card provided with you GPS Tracker. Keep an eye on your usage though until you
understand how much data or credit the GPS unit will use in your situation or you may end up
with a large bill!

Once you have registered and added credit to your PrePaid Plan you are ready to start using the
GPS Tracker!
GPS Unit Setup
1.
Unpack your GPS Tracker from the box and turn the unit so that the Orange waterproof cover is
facing you and the wires are on the right side (as per the image below)
2.
You will see a small gap on one side of the Orange cover. Using your finger nail or other suitable
implement and light force, pry the cover open. It will make a small clip as it comes out.
