Front door
7.1.3
The front door is also attached to the cam system and is opened and
closed by a pushrod and spring attached to the cam. Figure 7-3 shows
the pylon in the extended (raised) position with the front door opened
(downwards movement into the engine bay).
When the pylon is retracted by the linear actuator the front door is
closed (upwards movement to seal off the engine bay) by a pushrod
linked to the cam.
