ATTENTION: To sanitise the floor area,
leave the appliance on that area for a mini-
mum of 8 seconds, but not more than 50.
Leaving the appliance in a stationary posi-
tion for a period longer than the recom-
mended time can cause clear residue to
form. This residue can be removed using a
limescale removal product or a few drops
of vinegar. (See the solution guide).
ATTENTION: NEVER operate the appliance
without water. NEVER direct the steam to-
wards people or animals.
Only use the appliance on hard surfaces.
Having finished cleaning, switch off the ap-
pliance by pressing (B) on the OFF position,
disconnect the power supply cable from the
current socket, empty the water tank, ca-
refully remove the cloth (L) from the noz-
zle, rewind the power supply cable around
the cable winder on the handle and store it
in a vertical position in a dry place or hang
using the storage hook.
ATTENTION: The Pad microfibre cloth can
get very hot.
Do not use to heat surroundings.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ENSURE THE APPLIANCE is disconnected
from the current socket WHEN cleaning it.
Drain the remaining water from the tank
and clean the tank after use.
How to remove scale inside the water tank:
To clean limescale deposits that build up
inside the water tank, add one or two ta-
blespoons of white vinegar to the tank
full of water, close the tank plug and de-
licately shake.
DO NOT SWITCH ON THE APPLIANCE.
Leave the unit to rest for a few seconds,
then remove the water, vinegar and deta-
ched limescale deposits from the tank.
Fill and rinse the tank a few times until the
water in the tank is clear.
Never emerge the appliance IN WATER.
Proceed to clean to remove the limescale.
If your steam broom starts to produce
steam more slowly than usual or it may
even stop producing steam, you may need
to remove residual limescale.
You need to remove limescale regularly,
every 25-50 tank fillings or at least once a
month. Use distilled water to improve per-
formance.
To remove limescale from the steam
broom, please follow these procedure:
Ensure the steam broom is DISCONNECTED
from the electrical mains before mainte-
nance.
1 ) Prepare a solution of 1/3 white vinegar
and 2/3 water, pour into the water tank.
For safety purposes, position the unit so
that the released steam is turned far from
the surface or the surrounding objects.
Switch on the unit by pressing the power
supply switch (B) (O/I) and allow the unit to
produce steam until the vinegar/water so-
lution is used up.
Repeat the procedure until normal steam
production resumes.
Fill the tank with fresh water and rinse.
Fill the tank with fresh water, connect the
unit and release steam through the system
until the tank is empty.
Run a steam release test on an isolated area
after each limescale removal to guarantee
there is no dirt or deposits in the system.
Attention, there is always a risk of burns.
