ASSEMBLY
Install the steering adjuster rubber with the steer-
ing adjuster plate.
Install the swivel port bracket. Install the two
swivel bracket bolts and tighten to a torque of 6.0
ft. lbs. (8 N·m).
Clamp Bracket
Apply
Triple-Guard
grease to the clamp bracket
through swivel shaft bolt hole.
Install the clamp bracket starboard side, the tilt
friction washer and the swivel shaft bolt.
Install the thrust block with the lower thrust mount
and the tilt lock bolt.
Install the tilt friction washer and the clamp
bracket port side.
Install the tilt friction washer and the swivel shaft
nut. Apply
Nut Lock
to the swivel shaft nut, and
torque the nut to 7.0 ft. lbs. (10 N·m).
