FC Bus Terminal Block
Wire the Field Controller (FC) Bus in a daisy chain to other devices on the FC Bus and the supervisory controller
(
Figure 4 ).
Note: The Shield terminal (SHLD) on the FC Bus terminal block is isolated and can be used as a convenient
terminal for connecting the bus cable shield ( Figure 4 ).
Sensor Port
The Sensor Bus port on the bottom-right of the IOM is an RJ-12, 6-position modular jack that provides a connection
for an NS sensor. See
Table 1 for more information. The Sensors Port pin assignment is shown in ( Figure 5 ).
Device Address DIP Switches
Ensure the device address DIP switches are set to the appropriate address (in the range of 4-127). Ensure that DIP
switch 128 is set to
Off , which disables wireless mode. For more details on setting the DIP switches, see the
Setting the FC Bus Address on page 11.
