Example:
Reheat coil loss can be determined from the above table. Coil velocity (FPM) = Airflow (CFM) / Face Area (sq. ft.)
1. JRE036 has a face area of 5 sq. ft. (see physical data table).
2. At 1,500 cfm, coil velocity (FPM) = 1,500 / 5 = 300 FPM
3. From above table, ESP is .22.
4. JRE036 (without reheat) C Drive at .6 ESP, 3.0 turns = 1,500 cfm
JRE036 (with reheat) C Drive at .82 ESP, 3.0 turns = 1,400 cfm
If drop in CFM is not acceptable, adjust turns to 2.0 for 1,500 CFM.
Note - Sometimes drive package must be changed.
