3.1 AIR INSTALLATION
A

.  Remove the left side panel from the changer.

B

.  Locate the air hose coming from the oiler side of 

the fi lter/oiler assembly which is mounted on the rear 
of the cabinet. See Figure 3 hose #1.

C

.  Cut the air hose (#1) coming from the air fi lter/lu-

bricator and attach “Tee” fi tting #2 as shown in Figure 
3.

D

.  Route the air feed hose (#3) from the Bead Assist 

Attachment through the same hole in the rear of the 
cabinet as hose #1.

E

.  Attach the hose #3 to the Tee fi tting (#2) on hose 

#1.

F

.  Close the side panel of the tire changer and secure 

with the lock screw.

4.0 NOMENCLATURE

Before using the 87434 Bead Assist Attachment, it is 
suggested that you become familiar with the nomen-
clature of components (Figure 4).
