Spindle-Brake Subassembly Disassembly
NOTE: This procedure applies only to units with integral input
brake.
EYE PROTECTION MUST BE WORN WHILE PERFORMING THE STEPS 1-3 IN THIS
PROCEDURE.
1. Place Spindle (1 A) with the flange side up. Remove the
Bolts (21) in an X pattern by backing each bolt half way
out, and then finish backing them out. Remove Motor
Adaptor (1N). If necessary, remove Retaining Ring (8C),
knock Ball Bearing (8B) out of mounting adaptor coun-
terbore, and check Quad Seal (1K) and O-Ring (8F).
