Transmission Control Lever
Transmission control lever (
1
) engages forward or reverse travel.
• Lift and push lever forward for forward travel; lift and pull lever rearward for reverse
travel. Move lever to centered position for ‘Neutral’.
• When traveling in REVERSE, the back-up alarm will automatically sound.
• Drive in reverse and turn only at slow rates of speed.
• Do not increase engine speed with the transmission in forward or reverse and the
service brake depressed in an attempt to get quicker hydraulic performances. This
could cause unexpected machine movement.
WARNING
TIP OVER/CRUSH HAZARD.
Bring telehandler to a complete stop before shifting
transmission control lever. A sudden change in direction of travel could reduce
stability and/or cause load to shift or fall.
