APPLICABLE REGULATIONS AND COMPLIANCE OF RADIO EQUIPMENT
Radio equipment is manufactured in such a way as to ensure the protection of the health and safety of people,
animals and goods, including the objectives concerning the safety requirements of Directive 2014/53/EU and the
related implementing legislation, Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) for the safety of materials and waste disposal,
compliance with the essential requirements referred to in Article 3 of Legislative Decree No 128/2016.
SAFETY WARNINGS ANDREQUIREMENTS
BEFORE INSTALLATION
1.
Read this user manual carefully and store it in a safe and accessible place.
2.
Check the integrity of the product, if the product does not show up intact, do not connect it to any power
source and contact your dealer.
3.
The installation and maintenance of the appliance must be carried out only by specialized personnel. The in-
stallation of the product by people without professionalism, dexterity and experience in electrical components
and car accessories can be dangerous and can expose you to the risk of short circuits, injuries or other risks.
4.
Before proceeding to the installation, connect the supplied wiring to the car, and try all the features.
5.
The return with full refund will be accepted only for intact products and without signs of installation.
6.
Keep away from contact with liquids as short circuits, or dangerous situations, may occur.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
1.
Please pay attention to safety in traffic. Do not use the product in violation of the Highway Code and na-
tional, European and international road safety regulations.
2.
For your own safety, please do not watch videos or play them while driving. And please adjust the volume of
the sound to an appropriate level so that you can hear the sound from the outside. Do not use headphones with
such high volume as to not allow to hear sounds from outside the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
3.
If you have problems with the system, park your car in a safe place, and ask your installer or dealer for assis-
tance. Do not use the product, its applications or rear camera mode (if it has been purchased) if it distracts at-
tention in any way from safe driving. If it is difficult to use the product or read the display, park your vehicle in a
safe place before doing anything.
4.
If you notice smoke, noise or strange smell coming from the product, or any other abnormal signal on the
screen, immediately cut off the power from the product and consult your seller.
5.
Follow traffic rules and highway code when using the satellite navigation function.
6.
Do not allow children to use this device.
7.
Please do not use this device in areas where the use of electronic equipment or fire is prohibited, such as
gas stations, distilleries or electromagnetic interference areas. Otherwise, it could cause danger.
8.
Do not park or leave the machine, especially the LCD screen, in places where it is exposed to direct sunlight,
nor place it in other environments with harmful substances. If during installation, the LCD screen is located near
the air conditioner fan, make sure that the air does not go directly to the radio.
9.
To ensure the normal operation of the machine and prevent the occurrence of fires or electric shocks, do
not expose the machine to wet air, nor let liquids pour on the radio.
10.
Do not disassemble or modify the product, as there are high voltage components inside that can cause short
circuits. Be sure to contact your seller for an internal inspection or repair.
11.
To ensure safety in use, some functions are disabled until the vehicle is stationary with the handbrake oper-
ated.
12.
On vehicles, it is mandatory to connect the handbrake wire that inhibits the execution of moving videos.
13.
Do not install the product in places where it could obstruct the driver's view or prevent some safety opera-
tions, such as air bags, emergency lights or even prevent safe driving.
14.
Using this product with the engine off may drain the battery
