Installation
Qualified or trained personnel should install the blower. Electrical rotating equipment
can result in property damage, serious injury, or death, when improperly installed.
Equipment should be installed in accordance with the National Electric Code, local
codes, and/or with the “NEMA MG2 Safety Standards for Construction and Guide for
Selection, Installation and Use of Electric Motors and Generators”.

Position Blower
Locate in position where ambient air temperature available for the motor cooling fan
does not exceed 90ºF or 32ºC.
Blower Systems
Blowers not in Enclosures or Part of JetTunnel™ or Premier™ Systems should be
positioned by lifting from the motor lifting eye on top of motor or the motor stand.
Do not lift the blower by the volute housing.
The blower should be located in a place where the blower intake and motor cooling fan
are not obstructed and where the filter may be easily serviced.
The air intake inlet
must be a minimum of 10” or 250mm from the nearest obstruction and the motor
cooling fan is a minimum of 2” or 5cm from the nearest obstruction.
The blower is designed to rest on its motor stand or enclosure legs.
The blower may
not be positioned on any other side.

Bolt your JetAir Technologies blower in place to a rigid floor by the mounting legs.
Use a minimum four (4) mounting bolts. Note: The JET-3™ blower weighs ~95lbs.
