INSTALLING THE ROUTER
Step 12
: Using the crank handle, crank the lift
carriage up so that it just contacts the O-rings at
the top of the carriage shafts. The carriage
should be all the way toward the table top.
Step 13
: With a
1/8”
hex key, remove one of the
¼” shoulder bolts from one of the clamping
blocks and slide the clamping block on the
carriage
. (See Figure #13)
Step 14: Locate your router on the chart below
Step 15: Align the letter and number associated
with your router (Figure #14 and Figure #15)
and reinsert and tighten the ¼- x 1-1/2” Shoulder
Bolt you removed in Step 13.

The carriage is set from the factory for the
Porter Cable7518 router motor. If you are
mounting the PC 7518, proceed to Step 17. If
you have another motor other than the Porter
Cable 7518 proceed to Step 12.
