SETTING THE DATE AND TIME 

 
 

The LED DISPLAY (#10) will be flashing when the unit is plugged in for the first time. 
The unit is now in

 standby mode. 

 

Note:

  The  JCR-212  has  a  Date  and  Time  feature,  so  you  will  be  setting  the  Year, 

Month and Date followed by setting the time.

 

 

Setting the Date and Time: 

1. 

In standby mode, press and hold the MEMORY/

SET 

BUTTON (#1)

 until the hour digits of the clock display 

begin to flash.

 

2.  Repeatedly tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) or 

 BUTTON 

(#3) to set the hour. Press and hold the button for fast 
reverse/advance setting. Make sure the correct AM or PM time is selected when 
setting the hour. 

 

Note:

 The PM INDICATOR (#8) is located in the upper left part of the display. 

The PM INDICATOR (#8) will light when the hour digits selected are for PM time. 
The PM INDICATOR (#8) will be off when the hour digits selected are for AM time. 

 

3. 

Tap the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1)

 to confirm the hour 

setting, the minute digits will flash to prompt for input

.  

4. 

Repeatedly 

tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) or 

 BUTTON 

(#3) to set the minute. Press and hold the button for fast 
reverse/advance setting. 

5. 

Tap the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1)

 to 

confirm. 12H 

will light on the display.  

6. 

Repeatedly 

tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) or 

 BUTTON (#3) to select the 12 or 24 

hour clock. 

7. 

Tap the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1)

 to confirm. The year digits 20XX will flash to 

prompt for input.

 

8.   

Repeatedly 

tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) or 

 BUTTON (#3) to set the year. Press 

and hold the button for fast reverse/advance setting. 

9. 

Tap the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1)

 to confirm. The month digits XX will flash to 

prompt for input. 

 

10. 

Repeatedly 

tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) or 

 BUTTON (#3) to set the month. 

Press and hold the button for fast reverse/advance setting. 

11. 

Tap the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1)

 to confirm. The date digits d XX will flash to 

prompt for input.

 

12. 

Repeatedly 

tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) or 

 BUTTON (#3) to set the date. Press 

and hold the button for fast reverse/advance setting. 

13. 

Tap the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1)

 to confirm and complete the setting. 

 

14. 

The time will light on the display and stop flashing.

 

 

Notes:  

  The  unit  will  automatically  save  the  settings  and  exit  the  time  set  mode  if  you  do 

not press any buttons within 10 seconds. 

  In standby mode,  

Tap 

the MEMORY/

SET BUTTON (#1) to review the Weekday. 

( d1 = Monday, d2 = Tuesday, d3 = Wednesday, d4 = Thursday, d5 = Friday,  
  d6 = Saturday and d7 = Sunday ). 

 

Tap the 

 

BUTTON (#2) to review the month and date. (12 08 = December 8) 

 

Tap the 

 BUTTON (#3) to review the year.
