4. 

If the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time, please remove 
the batteries. Using old, leaking or cheaply made batteries can cause damage to 
the unit and may void the warranty. 

5. 

Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak. 

6. 

Batteries  shall  not  be  exposed  to  excessive  heat  such  as  sunshine,  fire  or  the 
like. 

7. 

Replace  all  the  batteries  at  the  same  time,  no  matter  exhausted  or  not,  every  2 
years at the same time to avoid possible battery leakage. 

8. 

Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat, 
rupture and leak. (Follow battery manufacturer's directions). 

9. 

Only an adult should replace the batteries. 

 
 

STANDBY MODE 

 

Standby Mode is when the unit is first plugged into an AC power source (display 
flashing) or after all the settings has been made and the time is showing on the display. 
Standby mode is also enabled when the Radio/AUX are off, no buttons are pressed 
and no alarms are sounding. 

 

 

CLOCK SETTING 

 
 

The LED DISPLAY (#10) will be flashing when the unit is plugged in for the first time. 
The unit is now in

 standby mode. 

 

Setting the Time: 

1. 

In standby mode, press and hold the 

MEMORY / 

CLOCK BUTTON (#2)

 until the hour digits of the clock 

display begin to flash.

 

2.  Repeatedly tap the TUNE - / 

 

BUTTON (#3) or 

TUNE + / 

 BUTTON (#4) to set the hour. Press and 

hold the button for fast reverse/advance setting. Make 
sure the correct AM or PM time is selected when setting the hour. 

 

Note:

 The PM INDICATOR (#9) is located in the upper left part of the display. 

The PM INDICATOR (#9) will light when the hour digits selected are for PM time. 
The PM INDICATOR (#9) will be off when the hour digits selected are for AM time. 

 

3. 

Press the 

MEMORY / CLOCK BUTTON (#2)

 to confirm 

the hour setting, the minute digits will flash to prompt for 
input

.  

4. 

Repeatedly 

tap the TUNE - / 

 

BUTTON (#3) or 

TUNE + / 

 BUTTON (#4) to set the minute. Press 

and hold the button for fast reverse/advance setting. 

5. 

Tap the 

MEMORY / CLOCK BUTTON (#2)

 to 

confirm and complete the setting. 

The display will stop 

flash

ing. 

 

Note:  

The  unit  will  automatically  save  the settings  and  exit  the  time  set  mode  if  you  do  not
