When using this product for the first time:
Please ensure you follow
these instructions:
1. The soleplate has been protected with oil; this may cause smoke
the first time it is switched on, however this will cease after a short
while.
2. Before using for the first time, remove any sticker or protective foil
from the soleplate. Clean the soleplate with a soft cloth.
3. To ensure the soleplate is kept smooth, avoid contact with metal
objects such as buttons and zips.
