Getting Started

1.0  Dry Ironing:

Before using the iron, please
separate the clothes in
accordance to the wash care
lables, as it will be quicker for
the iron to heat up than to
cool, therefore clothes such as
synthetic fabric, silk etc with a
lower ironing temperature should
be ironed first and then iron
clothes such as wool, cotton and
linen etc with higher temperature
later.

1.    Stand the iron on its

charging base, and set the
thermostat switch to the
MIN position.

2.    Plug in to the wall socket,

the indicator light will
come on to show the iron is
switched on and heating up.

3.    Rotate the thermostat knob

button and heat up the iron
to the required temperature,
Dry iron the clothes after
the indicator light has gone
out, as this shows the iron
has reached the operating
temperature set.

1.1  Filling with Water:

1.    Set the steam slide switch to

O (=no steam).

2.    Hold the iron by the hand

and slant the iron at a 45°
angle, open Water-filling lid.

3.    Fill the water tank using the

measuring jug (supplied). Do
not put chemically de-scaled
water into the iron.

4.    Do not fill the water

reservior above the
indicated max level (200ml).

1.2  Steam Ironing:

Follow the instructions as detailed
in the previous section “Filling
with water (1.1)”.

1.    Plug the appliance in to the

mains socket. The indicator
light will come on to show
the iron is switched on and is
heating up.

2.    Set thermostat temperature

control switch to MAX
position as per the
temperature indicator to
generate the steam function,
otherwise water may leak
from the soleplate.
