Caution: If fabric consists of various kinds of fibers, always select the
lowest ironing temperature of the composition of those fibers.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the
iron to cool down sufficiently.
• Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and non-abrasive (liquid)
cleaner.
• If fibers are adhered to the soleplate, use a damp cloth with
vinegar to wipe off the soleplate.
• Never use strong acid or alkaline in order to avoid damage to the
soleplate.
• If scale builds up in the steam holes in the soleplate, carefully
clean using a wooden toothpick taking care not to damage the
soleplate. NEVER DO THIS WHILST THE IRON IS PLUGGED IN OR
OPERATING. ONLY CARRY OUT THIS PROCEDURE WHEN THE IRON
IS COMPLETELY COLD.
