About the setup commands
Use setup commands to set or query the setup parameters of the E1 Tester.
These parameters can be a test type or a specific value.
The availability of a command depends on your current test configuration. For
example, the commands for an e1 jitter test are not available if you are
performing an e1 pulse shape test.
Check rules are used to ensure consistency between related setups. The unit
has the following check rules in place:
– All Lines the Same - this check rule makes sure that the same setup on all
lines is the same. If the setup for line 0 is changed, this check rule makes
sure that the setup for line 1 is changed as well.
– Tx=Rx and Rx=Tx - these two check rules make sure that the setups on
the transmit and receive sides are the same. If the receive framing setup is
changed, these check rules make sure that the transmitting framing setup
is changed as well.
The default states of these two check rules is ON.
When you assign a setup of line 0 Rx, the setups of line0 Tx, line 1 Rx and line1
Tx will be automatically assigned to same value.
For example you assign E1Bert.0.BertRx.Pattern to LUP_1TO1,
E1Bert.0.BertTx.Pattern, E1Bert.1.BertRx.Pattern and
E1Bert.1.BertTx.Pattern will be also assigned to LUP_1TO1.
