SwITChING ON

Ensure the unit is been fully charged. Switch 

the cleaner on by sliding the on/off switch 

 

forward to start the motor.

Slide the on/off switch backwards to switch the 

unit off.

Do not use whilst the unit is being charged.

Emptying the dust canister

Cleaning the dust canister filters

Clean the dust canister filters every time the 

canister is emptied to maintain maximum 

performance.

To remove the canister filter, follow the 

instructions above for ‘Emptying the dust 

canister’.

With the filter removed, brush it (using the 

dusting brush 

 provided) or gently tap it to 

remove the dust. You may also rinse both the 

filter and the dust canister with luke-warm 

water 

but they must be thoroughly air-

dried before refitting

. Do not use detergents.

ClEANING AND

mAINTENANCE

Unplug from the mains supply before cleaning. 

The vacuum cleaner, especially the dust 

compartment and all accessories, can be 

cleaned using a damp cloth or a non-abrasive 

domestic cleaner and wiped dry.

Purchasing replacement filters

Use only genuine replacement filters which 

can be purchased from specialist retailers or by 

calling our Helpline number on page 7.

If you want to dispose of the product yourself, 

the battery must be removed as depicted

This product contains sealed nickel metal-

hydride batteries. When it reaches the end of 

its useful life, it must not be disposed of in the 

normal household waste. The battery must 

be removed and disposed of at an authorised 

recycling plant. Your local authority will have a 

centre which accepts such waste for recycling.

Undo the six screws from the main body  

of the unit

Pull apart.

3. 

Remove the six battery cells and dispose 

of in accordance with local regulations.

4. 

Dispose of the remainder of the product
