Subject: Sensitivity, Short Standby Time
In the event you receive a Control 2.4G Wireless Powered Loudspeaker System with the following
complaint: “The unit goes into Standby mode too quickly, or does not turn back ON with very low
levels of music”, perform the following modification to increase the Standby time and Sensitivity.
Synopsis: Change four resistors in the Transmitter portion of the system. Note: RoHS-rated* de-soldering and
soldering equipment and material for SMD resistors will be required.
1) Remove the cover on the On Air
™
Control 2.4G Transmitter to expose the main PCB
2) Locate the four resistors R38,41,46 & 67 on the main PCB. (See illustrations)

Change R38, R41 from 9.1K to 3.3K SMD 603 size, JBL part# P3.3KGCT-ND
•
Change R46 from 510K to 2.2M SMD 603 size, JBL part# P2.2MGCT-ND
•
Change R67 from 680K to 2.2M SMD 603 size, JBL part# P2.2MGCT-ND
