TRANSMISSION LUBRICATION (IF EQUIPPED)
The 2-speed Transmission option on
your JAY
•
LOR
®
Cutter-Mixer-Feeder
uses gear oil as its lubricant. A sight
glass located on the front of the
transmission indicates the oil level in
the transmission. At no time is the
fluid level to be lower than the sight
glass, as damage to the
transmission will occur. If the fluid
level is above the sight glass, the oil
may overflow out of the breather.

Cutter-Mixer-Feeder.
The transmission is equipped with a
breather plug near the top of the
assembly, which must be attached
to the transmission at all times. This
breather is removable, to allow the filling of the transmission. If the breather becomes
contaminated, remove the breather, and clean it. Follow instructions as described in the
‘Maintenance and Service Information’
section.
