Adjust pot track
5.8.1.
Adjust pot track
Adjust the pot track before starting work with the machine.
Two levers are used to adjust the position of the pot track fingers in two directions:
•
Lever A: adjust height of pot track fingers.
•
Lever B: adjust pot track fingers to width of pot.
The pot track fingers must be adjusted so that they are as high as possible against the rim of the pot. The pot
track fingers must not be adjusted too tightly against the pot: keep a clearance of about 3 mm on both sides.
Procedure:
1.
Adjust the height of the pot track fingers using lever (A).
a. Pull the lever out and push/pull on the pot track fingers so that the
complete pot track turns.
b. Counterclockwise: the pot track fingers are lowered.
c. Clockwise: the pot track fingers are raised.
d. Adjust the track so that the pot is positioned at the center of the pot
support.
2.
The procedure for the optimum adjustment of the pot track fingers is as
follows:
a. Push the pot track fingers as far open as possible.
b. Adjust the fingers to the highest possible height (depends on pot size).
c. Hold the pot in the guide rail with a clearance of about 3 mm on both
sides (important for centering the drilled hole).
3.
Put the pot in the holder and adjust the width with lever (B).
a. Pull the lever out and push/pull on one of the short pot track fingers.
b. The pot track fingers can now be adjusted to the pot size.
The drill unit + brush + soil scraper must be in the highest position. Check that the pot track can be started: the
pot track must turn freely.
