Fixing the edge guide
Depending on the tasks and local conditions, the edge guide can be fixed by
– screw clamps
(Fig. 6/
27) or
– suction pads
(Fig. 6/
30) on smooth and gastight surfaces.
Use the connecting linkage
(Fig. 6/
31) to insert the suction pads into the T-groove
(Fig. 6/
28) at
both sides of the edge guide and fix them by the clamp screws
(Fig. 6/
29). Press on the suction
pads with the lever righted and throw the lever for fixing.

Remove the sliding plate/chip guard
(Fig. 2/
13) by loosening the 2 screws. Screw on the
sliding plate of the edge guide
(Fig. 5/
24). Make sure that all areas that are to be
screwed together are clean.
