8. Digital inputs and outputs
8. 1 Digital inputs
The device has 2 digital inputs to which you
can connect one signal generator each.
An input signal is detected on a digital input if
a voltage of at least 10 V and maximum 28 V
DC is applied.
The flowing current is at least 1 mA
and a maximum of 6 mA.
Pay attention to the supply voltage's polarity!

Transmission errors and
damage to property due to
electrical faults
If the line is longer than 30 m, there is
an increased probability of transmission
errors and damage to the device due to
atmospheric discharge.
Use a shielded cable for connection to
the digital inputs.

• has the right polarity.
• is not above the maximum permissible
