_ 4 Disposing of old electric and electronic equipment
1. If a product displays the symbol of a crossed out rubbish bin, this means it is included in
Directive 2002/96/EC.
2. All electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of separately from the municipal
waste collection service, through collection points designated by the government or local
authorities.
3. Proper collection and treatment of unserviceable devices helps to prevent potential risks
to the environment and public health.
4. For more information on how to dispose of your old electrical and electronic equipment,
please contact your local council, your household waste disposal service or the shop where
you purchased the product.
