Specification

The power supply/amplifier must meet the following criteria:

Supply voltage = 12 to 28 V dc
Short-circuit current = 50 mA (minimum)
Transformer type = isolated
Approval = ATEX

When used in an Ex area the installation must be carried out
according to EU norm EN 60079-14 general terms and IEC 79-11
intrinsic safety ‘I’.

The equipment must be electrically connected via an approved or
certified galvanically isolated interface/zener barrier placed outside
the hazardous area. P Fuchs Ex barrier type KFD2-CR-
EX1.30.300 (illustrated) is recommended.
