Use of flammable refrige-
rant (e.g hydrocarbons) or
air is also strictly forbidden.
MPZ compressors must
only be used for their desi-
gned purpose(s) and within
their scope of application (re-
fer to "operating limits").

Pressure tests must be
performed by qualified
personnel in accordance
with service Pressure (Ps)
printed on compressor na-
meplate. Max test pressure
shall never exceed 25 bar
(362 psig). For test pressure
use only nitrogen.
The rubber grommets
must be installed under the
compressor feet, as shown.
Tighten up until the flat
washer makes contact with
the steel mounting sleeve.
Recommended torque 15
Nm.
MPZ compressors are deli-
vered under nitrogen gas
pressure (between 0.3 and
0.7 bar) and hence cannot
be connected as is; please
refer to the "assembly"
sec-
tion for further details.
Under all circumstan-
ces, the EN378 (or other
applicable local safety
regulation) requirements
must be fulfilled.
Modifications or alte-
rations (such as welding
or brazing on the shell)
invalidate the user’s autho-
rization to operate the
equipment.
Never operate the com-
pressor without terminal
cover fitted.
The compressor must be
handled with caution in the
vertical position (maximum
offset from the vertical : 15°)
Do not leave compressor
open to atmosphere for ex-
tended period of time (less
than 1/2 h ).
