Connecting to the Traffic Engineering
II Radar – Wireless Bluetooth
Traffic Engineering II Radars have wireless Low Energy Bluetooth capa-
bility which allows you to connect without a hard wire USB connection.
The STARnext software will automatically search for, and display, any
units it find powered on within its range. Note that there is no need to go
though the 'Pairing' process as was common with units that used a Classic
Bluetooth connection.
On the Setup screen, make sure the radio button for Bluetooth LE is se-
lected and that the correct COM port number has been selected from the
drop down box. Once this is set, click the Connect button.
Once connected, the middle of the screen will show the Counter Info,
which are described on page 3-5.
