CXP2.0 Supported Functions
This camera supports the following CXP2.0 functions (the CoaXPress frame grabber board
used must support CXP 2.0 or later).
You can check the current CXP version in Transport Layer Control's CxpVersionUsed. If
CxpVersionUsed is CXP1.1, you cannot use these functions.
■ Event Control Function
This function outputs a signal change point inside the camera as information indicative of
an event occurrence (event message). For more information, see the Event Control topic.
■ CXP Link Sharing Function
This function allows a camera to connect to multiple PCs. For more information, see the
CXP Link Sharing topic.
■ Heartbeat Function
The camera periodically sends signals to the PC to verify that the connection is valid.
•
When connected to a CXP 2.0 compatible FG board and the CxpVersionUsed register is set
to 2.0, the Heartbeat function is forcibly turned on (you cannot switch the function On/Off).
•
Heartbeat packets are issued from the device (camera) to the host (PC).
•
The interval time for Heartbeat output is fixed at 10ms.
The Heartbeat function does not appear in the Setting List because there are no
customer-configurable items.
