Movement
Use
Starting the watch
Crown A
Turn the compression key to the “open” position in the
direction of the arrow. Crown “A” will then be in position 1.
A few clockwise turns of the crown will suffice to start the
watch. It will then automatically wind up when you wear it.
Please note that the crown does not lock on winding, even
when the watch is fully wound.
Once the operation is complete, turn the compression key to
the “closed” position in the direction of the arrows.
Setting the time
Crown A
Turn the compression key to the “open” position in the
direction of the arrow.
Then pull crown A out to position 3.
The movement will then be locked (“stop seconds” function).
To ensure accurate time setting in terms of seconds, stop the
seconds hand at 60.
Move the hands forward clockwise to the desired time and, on
the hour signal, push the crown back to position 1. The watch
will start running again.
Once the operation is complete, turn the compression key to
the “closed” position in the direction of the arrows.
Setting the date
Crown A
Turn the compression key to the “open” position in the
direction of the arrow.
Then pull crown A out to position 2.
Move the date forward by turning the crown clockwise.
Make the required number of turns until the desired date is
displayed.
NB : Date corrections must not be made between 22.30
and 03.30. During this period the automatic date-change
mechanism is already in action.
Once the operation is complete, push the crown back into
position 1 and turn the compression key to the “closed”
position in the direction of the arrows.
Chronograph operation
The central seconds hand on your Master Compressor
Diving Chronograph watch displays the chronograph seconds
with an eighth-of-a-second definition. A counter located
at 3 o’clock times the minutes up to 30 minutes (after 1
revolution it starts counting another 30 minutes). Another
counter located at 9 o’clock times the hours up to 12 hours
(after one revolution it starts counting another 12 hours).
- Pushpiece at 2 o’clock : this pushpiece starts and stops the
chronograph function.
- Pushpiece at 4 o’clock : this pushpiece resets the counters
and the central seconds hand. When timing is in progress,
pressing this pushpiece has no effect.
Each of these 2 pushpieces is fitted with wing-nuts with
a patented compression system. This enables additional
compression of one of the 3 pushpiece gaskets, ensuring
optimum water resistance.
Another benefit of this system : it enables the pushpieces
to be locked in the closed position, thereby preventing any
unintentional adjustment of the chronograph.
To enable use of the chronograph functions, move the
pushpieces into the “open” position by turning the wing-nuts
a quarter of a turn downward. The non-compressed gasket
position (“open”) will be indicated by an arrow (front view
of watch).
