ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The person responsible for managing the system is in charge
of cleaning the hydromassage nozzles and jets, as well as
maintaining the filter
X
Keep the hot tub covered at all times when not in use. Along
with stopping the water from getting dirty, this helps to avoid
heat loss and evaporation.
X
Periodically clean the hydromassage and suction intakes.
X
Model with Jacuzzi® heat pump:
consult the relevant manual
for all related routine maintenance work.
CAUTION
Never clean the hot tub with the pump running. Turn off
the main switch first.
CAUTION
After cleaning, immediately put the aspiration nozzle
grilles back in place. These safety devices must cover the
suction intake in order to reduce the risk of hair or other
body parts getting caught. The intakes must be cleaned
with the bath empty.
Remember to refit all the parts before filling the hot tub
again.
The suction intake grilles must be checked at least once a
week.
Q
FILTER MAINTENANCE
X
Periodically check the filter; for normal use of the hot tub, it is
advisable to clean the filter at least once a week (clogged filters
cannot keep the water clean; they also compromise proper sys-
tem operation).
X
To clean the filter, regularly run the backwash as indicated on
the pressure gauge on the selector valve. More specifically, this
means taking a reading of the pressure shown on the pressure
gauge when the system is started up or at the end of a scheduled
backwash (this value is normally below 1 atm). When this value
increases by 0.2 atm max. compared to the initial value, the filter
needs to be backwashed.
CAUTION: the pumps must be stationary before using
the selector valve.
X
Stop the pumps and disconnect the power supply to the hot
tub.
X
Remove the cap on the selector valve and connect the filter
drain to the pit via a pipe.
