Choosing the tractor
The different working standards encountered
by agricultural equipment leads us to comply
with the following criteria when choosing a
tractor for products of Jacto Arbus 1000 line.
• Check the weight of the machine (lb) on
the identification plate of the product.
• Check the capacity (in gallons) of the
backup reservoir.
Example:
Empty machine weight = 1,223.56 lb
Reservoir capacity = 264 gallons
Total cower consumption = 21 HP
Choosing the tractor according to the lift capacity of the hydraulic system
• Choose tractors whose gross mass is, at
least, equal to the sum of the empty
weight of the machine plus the weight
equivalent to the capacity of the reservoir.
Example: Empty machine weight = 1,223.56 lb
Reservoir capacity = 264 gallons (approxi-
mately 2,204.62 lb)
Gross Machine Mass = 3,428.18 lb
Recommended tractor: gross mass equal or
greater than 3,428.18 lb.
Choosing the tractor considering the power consumption
• Tractor recomended:
minimum tractor
nominal power = 30 HP
ATTENTION!
The tractor recomended in this case should have minimum nominal power of 30 HP.
It should also have gross weight equal or higher than 1555 kg and hydraulic system
lift with maximum capacity of 300 kg (for sprayers with articulated axle).
The above values are used as guidelines. The correct values must be obtained using
real data from your sprayer.
