3. Detecting live wires:

Place the sensor

surface to be scanned and move
it steadily over the surface. The
amplitude of the indicator

increase gradually the nearer a
live wire is to the sensor. If the
cross appears on the indicator

the life wire is right beneath the
sensor. The red light

an intermittent sound is to be
heard (

The tool can detect 40-60 Hz AC
live power cables.
Note:
High moisture in the
surrounding material or metal
covering the cable may affect its
detection.
Note:
Static electricity may affect
the detection of live wire cables.
Put the idle hand flat on the
surface next to the tool to release
the static electricity and improve
the results.
4. Moisture test:
Press the button

. The
tool will automatically be in the
moisture detection mode for wood,

appears on the display.
To change into the moisture detec-
tion mode for building materials,
press and hold the button

Pull off the cover

. Pull the caps

off the moisture sensors

. Pierce
the moisture sensors into the test
material. The results show on the
