USE OF THE STERILIZER IN THE MICROWAVE OVEN

It is easy to convert your electric steam sterilizer to a microwave steam sterilizer by using the additional

components: “Central Rack” (9) and “Microwave Base” (10) provided in the package. The microwave

sterilizer is good for sterilizing 4 sets of the most common feeding bottle sizes.

TIMETABLE FOR DIFFERENT POWER OF MICROWAVE OVEN

CLEANING

·   Switch off, unplug and disassemble the appliance before cleaning.

·   Do not let the power base, plug or cord get wet.

·   Wipe the power base with a damp cloth, then dry. Do not use of abrasive detergents.

·   Do not use bleach or chemical sterilizing solution/tablets in your steam sterilizer.

·   Never immerse the sterilizer base in the water.

·   Before plugging in the sterilizer again to the outlet make sure the sterilizer base is thoroughly dry.

DESCALING YOUR STERILIZER

·   After each use, pour away any remaining water from the sterilizer base.

·   Using filtered water with your sterilizer can reduce lime scale build up. You should descale your

sterilizer every 4 weeks to ensure it works efficiently as scale may affect the operation of the sterilizer.

·   To descale your sterilizer, mix one sachet of citric acid (10 g) with 200 ml of water. Pour the mixture

into the sterilizer base without any sterilizer accessory in the base and switch it on for around 1

minute and then switch off and leave it with the warm mixture for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse out the

sterilizer. Run a full cycle with only the sterilizer lid on with 200 ml of water. Wipe out the sterilizer

before using it again.

SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE

·   If the cord is damaged it must, for safety reasons, be replaced by an Authorized Service Center.

·  If the sterilizer fails to operate, unplug the unit for 15 minutes, plug it in again and try once more.

If the problem persists, check the “TROUBLESHOOTING” section. If the problem still persists, then

contact an Authorized Service Center.
