Mobile home installation.
DANGER: DO NOT INSTALL IN SLEEPING ROOM.
WARNING: THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE
MOBILE HOME FLOOR, WALL, AND CEILING/ROOF MUST
BE MAINTAINED.
1) Do the General stove installation steps 1 to 11.
2) The following requirement are MANDATORY for
installation in a mobile home.
a. The stove must be fixed onto floor of mobile
home with bolt and nuts
b. The exterior air intake must be install.
c.
The stove must be grounded with #8 electrical
wire to chassis of the mobile home Use of round
terminal and a star washer is mandatory.
d. All the supply use for installation must be certified
and approve for mobile home installation.

Cap with spark arrester

Firestop.

Chimney ceiling support
•
Decorative collar.
e. If the chimney exit by a wall and the bottom are
less than 7 feet (213 cm) over the ground level. A
shield must be install around chimney at 4 inches
or more of the chimney, from the bottom to 7 feet
(213 cm) tall. If opening are made into the shield
they must be less than ¾ inches (2 cm) and far
enough to can’t touch chimney with finger.

Be sure to keep moisture barrier of the house by
seal correctly the firestop, the roof flashing and
the exterior air inlet pipe
3) Always keep the door closed and lock. Open it only to add
wood or start fire.
4) To close the exterior air inlet, a damper must be installed
near the exterior air inlet. Don’t forget to open the damper
to operate your stove.
5) Always use Certified Parts. Never use a substitute to
repair any piece of stove or ant pieces of Chimney and
chimney connector..
