Shut-down programming:
1. Plug in the appliance. A “beep” will sound and the indicator lights on the control panel (1) will
turn on for 1 second and then turn off.
2. The screen (12) will display “
”.
3. Press the power button “ON/OFF” to turn on the appliance. The setting you have selected
will appear on the screen.
4. Press consequently the “MODE” button (20) and select the desired function.
5. Press the “TIMER” button (16). The “Timer” indication light (10) will turn on.
6. “00” will flash on the display (12) for 6 seconds.
7. Press the “-” (18) or “+” (19) buttons consequently to set the time you want the appliance to
switch on the selected mode (0.5 to 24 hours).
8. The “Timer” indication light (10) will stay on.
9. The appliance will turn off automatically when the selected time has elapsed.
Indication of full water tank (TANK FULL):
• When the water tank (3) is full, the compressor will turn off, the fan will stop for a few minutes
and make a sound. The “Tank Full” indication light (11) will flash.
• The appliance will switch off and will not work again until the water tank (3) is empty and
properly installed.
• The water tank (3) should be cleaned weekly to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. Use
a mild detergent to clean it. After cleaning it, dry it very well and place it in the appliance.
Notes:
• Hold the water tank with both hands when emptying it.
• When the water tank is full or removed from the appliance, the compressor will turn
off, but the fan will continue to run for a few minutes. This is perfectly normal. The
appliance will not dehumidify at this time.
• During operation, it is normal for the appliance to exhale hot air from the top.
CAUTION: Do not place the water tank on the floor when it is full as the base is not flat
and water may spill.
Continuous drain
When the dehumidifier is operated at very high humidity levels, the water tank will
require more frequent drainage. In this situation, it may be more convenient to set the
unit up for continuous drainage.
1. Remove the water tank (3).
2. Connect the water tube (8) to the drain nozzle inside the appliance.
