Radio Operation
When the unit is first switched on from standby, it will automatically enter Radio FM mode.
You should fully extend the FM lead wire aerial located at the back of the unit and adjust its
position and direction until you find the best reception.
The display will show FM and the frequency. To select the FM mode during other operation
modes, press the TUNER button.
Automatic Tuning
1. Press and hold the or button until the unit starts to search up or down.
The tuner will automatically search for the first station of sufficient signal strength.
2. Repeat the above procedure if you wish to select another station.
Manually Tuning
You can use the manual tuning to tune to weak stations or your desired frequency.
1. Repeatedly press the
or button until you
reach the correct frequency or the reception is at its
best.
2. You can also press the VOLUME control (JOG Mode/
Select button), then turn the VOLUME control
clockwise and anti-clockwise for manual tuning.
3. The display will show the stereo icon “
“ if a FM
stereo station is received.
Programming Preset Stations (remote control only)
You can preset stations of your choice and store up to 30 stations into the unit‘s memory.
1. First tune to your desired station. Then press the
PROGRAM button on the remote once, the display will
show “01” and flash. Press the + MENU/PS/FOLDER
or – MENU/PS/FOLDER button on the remote to
select the preset station number.
2. When your desired preset station number appears, press the PROGRAM button again
to confirm your selection. The current station will be stored in your desired preset
number.
3. Repeat the above steps to program more preset stations or to change the stored
preset station. Storing a new station into a preset location will erase the previously
stored station in that location.
Selecting the Preset Stations (remote control only)
During radio operation, press the + MENU/PS/FOLDER or – MENU/PS/FOLDER button
on the remote to select your desired preset station. The display will show the preset station
number and its associated frequency.
